Ayushmann Khurrana posts an inspirational message for his wife Tahira

Cancer is one such battle fought not only by the common people but also by the celebrities. Bollywood celebrities are no exception to this deadly disease. While many have succumbed to this Big C, there are some who have survived the disease. After Irrfan Khan and Sonali Bendre, now its Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap who was diagnosed with DCIS – (Ductal Carcinoma in Situ) in her right breast with high-grade malignant cells. It is a stage 0 cancer or a pre-cancerous stage.

Tahira took to Instagram to share the news. She wrote a lengthy post. Here are the excerpts from the post. “An opportunity to give competition to the Kardashians just went wasted! A week back I mentioned about ‘my badge of honour’ that I was going to receive. And I did and am happy to share about it with the intention of it being received with love. As that’s the only reason I am posting it. Love for self and gratitude for the universe.”

Ayushmann also tweeted an inspirational post for his dear wife Tahira. He tweeted, “Thanks for your wishes & support. Last 7 days have been tough but we have decided to have a happy life state & fight this challenge. Im proud of my warrior princess @tahira_k. We look forward to kick some ass with my upcoming releases in Oct & her debut film as a director in Feb.”
