Ayushmann Khurrana is humbled by positive response to An Action Hero: Tried to give audiences something new

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana stunned everyone with his action avatar that he showcased in his recently released movie, An Action Hero. The actor packed a punch with his performance and fans just can’t stop going gaga over it. After getting good responses from movie buffs, Ayushmann Khurrana took to his Instagram and penned a heartfelt note, mentioning that he is humbled by the positive response to An Action Hero.

Ayushmann also stated that his team tried something new as he wrote, “During the entire journey of An Action Hero it really felt like we were the newest students of cinema and were all set to make something really exciting and new age. As a team, we are always aligned and inclined to try and cause creative disruption. From Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and now An Action Hero, we have tried to give audiences something new to savour and discuss through our brand of cinema. So, we are humbled with all the positivity and the strong word of mouth surrounding An Action Hero.”

“We are grateful for the love that’s coming our way for An Action Hero. It validates our stance of walking the road less travelled to take risks and hopefully contribute to making our industry a more diverse storytelling entity,” the Doctor G actor further said.

Calling An Action Hero a rare script, Ayushmann concluded, “A film that was meant to push the envelope of creativity and we hope you continue giving it love and appreciation in the days to come.”

Meanwhile, An Action Hero also stars Jaideep Ahlawat. Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to the movie. Despite getting good feedback, the film is not able to mint money at the box office.
