Ayushmann Khurrana has always said that he is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and the superstar is his idol. Ayushmann started his career with television, he was seen in reality shows and then he got his big break in movies with Vicky Donor in 2012. Ayushmann recently completed 10 years in Bollywood and we sat down for a candid chat with the actor when he opened up about his love for Shah Rukh Khan.
Ayushmann told Bollywood Bubble, “I have looked up to Shah Rukh Khan as a role model. He was from the North, he was not from a film background and he became a superstar, megastar, started with TV, started with journalism in mass communication. I have followed him to the T, I started mass communication because of him, and I took my studies seriously because of him.”

He further said he wanted to be an ‘intelligent’ actor just like SRK, “I thought if I have to be an actor I have to be an intelligent actor, I need to study I need to work hard. So I think he inspired me. Thankfully it has happened and I am still learning I guess. I am still a work in progress.”
