Ayushmann’s candid picture with wife Tahira, post her breast cancer surgery, will melt your heart

Actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap had recently revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer stage 0. Post her announcement, Tahira has shared her journey and has since been posting about her fight with cancer. She even featured on the cover of HT Brunch, along with her hubby.

Sharing one of the pictures from the shoot, Tahira wrote a heartfelt post about how they never thought of doing a photo-shoot for such a reason (they did the photo-shoot for breast cancer awareness). Tahira also shared that the picture is very special for her. She said, “This is a special one as this is a first for the both of us together. Haven’t gotten ourselves clicked like this in the past 17 years (including 10 years of marriage).”

Thanking the leading daily for this lovely picture, Tahira further wrote, “I thought it really would require a special day for us to get ourselves clicked professionally. But I didn’t realise the day would just not be special it will also be memorable for not only am I more comfortable in my skin today but also for the awareness of the cause that I am spreading & enduring. Guess there is still more scope to love myself hence going through another testing phase. I somehow feel I’ll surge. If I was ok being a X’mas tree at my wedding this better be ok! #breastcancerawareness”

Ayushmann shared the same endearing black & white picture, with the simple yet touching caption, ““I will be fine” she said”
