After portraying a sperm donor in his first film, Ayushmann Khurrana is all geared up to talk about erectile dysfunction in men in his next film “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’. Directed by Aanand L Rai, is about Ayushmann and Bhumi’s love story jinxed by this issue. How does the couple tackle the situation is something that is to be seen in the film. This film also encourages men to open up about such adult issues and not hesitate. Even during promotions, Ayushmann has been vocal about the issue.
In his latest interview, he has spoken about pre-marital s*x. The handsome hunk says that there is nothing wrong in pre-marital s*x and in fact is a good thing to indulge in. He says, “I endorse pre-marital sex. In our society, we encourage arranged marriage. Marriage is an important aspect of one’s life. It’s always good to test the waters before jumping in.”
Further adding, “What will the couple do if there’s a problem they learn about after getting hitched? In our film, the lead protagonists are in love, and support each other. But, that might not always be the case.”
Point to be noted!
Talking about the actor’s journey from being a sperm donor to a man with erectile dysfunction (in characters), he had earlier stated that his life has come a full circle. “After ‘Vicky Donor’, life is coming a full circle for me with this film. We are part of a progressive changing society. As young actors, the onus lies on us to choose subjects which must be talking points. Is our work of any value if we don’t have an opinion on things?”, said the actor. (Also Read: Ayushmann Khurrana starts shooting for ‘Shoot The Piano Player’ in Pune, shares a picture)
