‘Baahubali 2’ celebrates 3rd anniversary; Prabhas thanks fans for their crazy wild love

There’s no doubt about the fact that Prabhas and Rana Daggubati’s ‘Baahubali’ films became hugely popular. Both of them won the hearts of one and all after the super success of ‘Baahubali’ 1 and 2 – which were one of the biggest movies ever made in the country. As ‘Baahubali 2’ completes three successful years today, Prabhas took to social media to thank his fans and the director for the magnum opus.

Prabhas took to his social media to post a BTS picture and wrote, “Baahubali 2 was not just a film that the nation loved but also, the biggest film of my life. And, I’m grateful to my fans, team and director S. S Rajamouli who made it one of the most memorable projects. Baahubali 2 completes three years and I’m delighted for all the love the film and I have received.” Have a look:

Prabhas and Rana Daggubati have set a benchmark with their fabulous performances in the film and have charted two unforgettable characters for us all. The film has broken records, and that catapulted Prabhas and Rana Daggubati to huge popularity and unending aura.

The first part of the Rana Daggubati and Prabhas starrer grossed a jaw-dropping amount of ₹650 Crore worldwide while the second part earned a breath-taking amount ₹1,810 crore crores worldwide. Owing to Rana Daggubati and Prabhas’ phenomenal presence in the cinemas, the second part of the film became the highest-grossing film in India at that point of time. However, Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ became the only film to overtake it.

Even after 3 years of its release, ‘Baahubali 2’ still manages to stay the second most grossing film in India. The film earned ₹121 Crore on day 1 a record which hasn’t been broken yet.

The love and appreciation that Rana Daggubati and Prabhas received for their characters have been immense, across the world. Beyond the confines of borders and languages, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati truly have turned out to be superstars who are widely loved and synonymous as ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Bhallaldeva’. The fans on social media have not kept calm ever since and the social media is abuzz with wishes, trends and appreciation for the two stars.
