‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’: Does the trailer give you feels of Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’?

The trailer of director SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ is here and as expected it has started ruling over the hearts of everyone. The trailer is filled with grandeur, battle scenes, romance and a tremendous face off between the characters of Baahubali and Bhallala Deva, played by actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati respectively.

But, as this magnificent trailer was coming to an end, there was something that made us remember about another hugely popular upcoming sequel. And it’s none other than the superstar Rajinikanth‘s science fiction film ‘2.0’. Surprised or shocked? There is certainly no connection between these two hugely popular film series, but, there’s an indirect and most common one – the concept of good v/s evil. (Also Read: ‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’: Did Kattappa actually kill Baahubali? A close look at the trailer, especially at the end shot between Prabhas and Rana Daggubati reminds us of the poster of ‘2.0’, which features Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. This shot of ‘Baahubali 2’ and the poster of ‘2.0’ carry an uncanny similarity. The positioning of the hero and villain and the ultimate sign of final face off make for that strong resemblance.

‘Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion’ is slated to release on April 28. Whereas, director S Shankar’s ‘2.0’ is all set to hit the screens during the festive time of Diwali. Both are releasing in year 2017.
