‘Baar Baar Dekho’ director Nitya Mehra describes the journey of it’s making as a joyride

Filmmaker Nitya Mehra is all geared up for her first directorial venture ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ which is certainly making the right kind of noise among the viewers for its unique content and fresh on screen pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif. Nitya has assisted in some very credible projects of Bollywood like ‘Lakshya’, ‘Don: The Chase Begins’ and even Hollywood like ‘Life of Pi’ and ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ before sitting on the director’s chair.

Talking about the experience of working on this romantic drama, Nitya says it’s been a joyride. She said, “It’s been exciting, nerve-wracking and a great learning. I had immense support from an extremely passionate crew and actors that pampered me and my vision for this film.”

“But right now I feel like I’m running against time… But we shall know when September 9 arrives. I think life is pretty much like a roller-coaster and this film has been one fabulous ride,” added the director.

‘Baar Baar Dekho’ is the first joint association between producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

It is slated to release on September 9, 2016.
