‘Baar Baar Dekho’ first half review: Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif live up to our expectations

After checking out all the lovey dovey stills and the amazing songs, we were eagerly awaiting the release of Nitya Mehra’s ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. After the first half, it quite lives up to our expectations.

Jay(Sidharth Malhotra) and Diya (Katrina Kapoor) are childhood friends who later turn lovers, and then a married couple. The first half is about an old Jay going reverse in time and seeing flashbacks of crucial events of his life.

Sidharth Malhotra is decent so far. Sans her Hindi which seems to be a permanent glitch now, Katrina Kaif is good! We don’t yet know how the rest of the story is going to unfold, but the wait is worth it.

We are liking the cinematography; it’s neat and apt. Background scores are decent too.
