Babil Khan and Juhi Chawla team-up for a crazy comedy titled Friday Night Plan

FINALLY! The teaser for Friday Night Plan is here! No, it is not about Friday but a film titled Friday Night Plan which is all se to have an OTT release on Netflix and the teaser for the same just dropped. The audience are up for a delight in this Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmania, Excel Entertainment produced and Vatsal Neelakantan diretorial. The film carries a strong yet light-hearted cast of Babil Khan, Amrith Jayan, Medha Rana, Aadhya Anand and Ninad Kamat. Not just this, but the film also stars Juhi Chawla in a special appearance.

As Farhan Akhtar dropped the teaser on his Instagram handle, he captioned the teaser saying, “Your #FridayNightPlan is on us! Releasing on 1st Sept, only on @netflix_in” Well, we are sure that our Friday Night Plan will be full of entertainment as we will experience an unbreakable bond between brothers.

In an official statement by Netflix, Babil Khan said, “Having a younger brother in real life, this film feels so relatable to me. It’s a heartwarming journey that brings back fond memories of our own misadventures. This is my first outing with Excel Entertainment and also marks my second collaboration with Netflix after Qala, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this project,”

Vatsal Neelakantans’ directorial debut

As this is the first film by director Vatsal Neelakantan, he said, “It is a thrilling experience to be announcing my first film, Friday Night Plan. It is a warm tale of love, friendship, brotherhood and self discovery that speaks to all audiences. I’m very grateful to have Netflix and Excel entertainment as partners and I hope that the love with which we have made the film translates on screens across the globe ”

Needless to say, Friday Night Plan will surely turn out to fill your heart with emotions as we also have Juhi Chawla in a special appearance. The film will stream on Netflix from 1 September, 2023.
