Actor Babil Khan who made his acting debut with Qala took to his Instagram on Wednesday and dropped an unseen picture of his late father and actor Irrfan Khan who departed for his heavenly abode on April 30, 2020. The unseen picture has Irrfan Khan, his mother Sutapa Shikdar and younger son Ayaan Khan clicked in a candid moment. While sharing the throwback picture, Irrfan Khan is remembered by his elder son Babil ahead of his birth anniversary.
Sharing the picture with the fans, Babil penned a heartfelt note saying how he understands the void between him and his father. Babil captioned, “2023: Happy new year to aap sabh It’s baba’s birthday in 3 days. Let us refine ourselves. Let us stop, reflect and recognise ourselves. Let us understand the voids that built these walls between you and I, allow me to love you and let us unify ourselves. Let us come together this year. Let’s be one big family”

Babil Khan’s Instagram is a photo album of his father Irrfan Khan where he is often seen sharing priceless throwback pictures and videos of him that only make us nostalgic. Nevertheless, Babil Khan made his debut in Qala but he also had a small part in his father Irrfan Khan starrer film Qarib Qarib Singlle. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Babil Khan opened up on his first role and how his father Irrfan Khan pushed him into it.
Babil Khan said, “Men. Oh My God, okay okay so if you want to know about my debut then here I was a camera intern and the extras did not show up. The guy’s who were to play the character did not show up. Then Baba just pushed me forward. ‘This is your chance to go, just go’, he said. I was like, ‘what I can’t go’.”
Irrfan Khan passed away on April 30, 2022, after valiantly fighting cancer.
