Back to the 80s and 90s: Anil Kapoor to work again with actresses of the decade

Anil Kapoor has been in the industry for more than three decades and has worked with many actresses. But then, like every actor, he too moved on and started working with younger actresses and was hardly seen with those of his generation.

2007 release ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ was the last film when we saw him with an actress of his generation. Juhi Chawla was paired opposite him in the movie which had six different love stories. After that he had worked with actresses like Mallika Sherawat, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sushmita Sen, Sameera Reddy, Ameesha Patel, etc. Well, in 2008 release ‘Black & White’ and 2015 release ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ he was paired opposite Shefali Shah, a senior actress, but with her he had never worked in his younger days.

However, now it looks like Anil Kapoor is moving back to the actresses he had worked in 80s and 90s. So, the actor is currently busy shooting for ‘Fanney Khan’ which has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the female lead. He had worked with Ash in 1999 release ‘Taal’ and then in ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’ which released in 2000. And now, after 17 years, he has teamed up with Aishwarya again.

Well, this morning we got a very good news that Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit will be seen in ‘Total Dhamaal’. With Madhuri too he is teaming up after 17 years. So, now as Anil Kapoor is working with Aishwarya and Madhuri again, we are keen to watch him on the silver screen with Sridevi as well. There have been a lot of reports of ‘Mr India 2’ and we simply can’t wait for an official announcement of the movie.
