Ever wondered what would happen if life handed you a situation so unique, it’s one in a billion? Gear up for a ‘special delivery’ as the trailer of its anticipated movie Bad Newz has been released. This is a high-concept rare comedy entertainer inspired by true events. This comedy extravaganza is directed by the multi-hyphenated Anand Tiwari, and it is brought to life by a fresh trio – Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri & Ammy Virk. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is slated to release in theatres near you on July 19.

A rare comedy inspired by true events, Bad Newz explores the comedic side of a rare pregnancy
phenomenon, Heteropaternal Superfecundation. The film unfolds with Saloni (played by Triptii Dimri)
discovering that she is pregnant with twins from two different fathers, Akhil (played by Vicky Kaushal)
and Gurbir (played by Ammy Virk). After she breaks the news to both of them, they get into a war to prove that they are the father of the child. The banter between Vicky and Ammy will surely leave you in splits and will make your wait harder for the movie. We also get to see mentions of some Bollywood movies which is interesting.

Bad Newz trailer is a total entertainer with a mixture of comedy, love and confusion. This commercial entertainer also has some full desi Bollywood songs along with a remake of Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam song. For the unversed, earlier, the movie was named Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam which was then changed to Bad Newz.

However, the one thing that completely stole the attention was Katrina Kaif’s cameo. Well, not exactly but the film saw a poster of Katrina Kaif in the movie. And the way Vicky was defending the poster was too cute. This unimaginable scenario sets the stage for a series of sidesplitting and heartwarming events that make for an unforgettable cinematic experience.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, this is the first time where all three are coming together. This fresh pairing has left everyone pumped up to see them onscreen. Bad Newz is scheduled to release on July 19.
