Baghban actor Saahil Chadha and wife survive an accident; suffer injuries

Actor Saahil Chadha, who appeared in films like Baghban, Thodi Life Thoda Magic, etc. has survived an accident. His wife Promila was also with him. As per a report in the Times of India, on Wednesday, May 12, after a meeting near Mumbai’s Xavier’s College, the couple were walking back towards their car that they parked in a lane behind the college. They were just a few miles away from their vehicle, then they were hit by an ambulance from behind. Saahil is currently admitted to the Bombay Hospital and he might get discharged by Monday or Tuesday.

Promila has two fractures in the leg and Saahil got dragged by the ambulance for about two feet and he has injuries on his stomach and thigh. Promila is currently at her cousin’s house in Cuffe Parade.

In April Saahil and Promila had tested positive for COVID-19 and they were under home quarantine for 20 days.

Saahil told ETimes that the police have caught the driver. He added, “I practice Buddhism and feel that a big undesirable and much worse incident has been averted in my life. I am under observation for the next few days no doubt, but God has been kind. Whatever happened was extremely shocking and scary”.

We hope that Saahil gets discharged soon.
