Bappi Lahiri demise: Kajol & mom Tanuja were spotted outside his residence to offer condolences

Legendary music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri passed away on Tuesday night. The singer was 69 years old and breathed his last on Tuesday night. As per reports, the music composer breathed his last in Mumbai’s CritiCare hospital. After Bappi Lahiri demise, many celebs offered condolence messages on social media including, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor Khan Kiara Advani, Bhumi Pednekar and others. Now, actor Kajol was spotted outside the legendary singer’s residence to offer her condolences along with her mother Tanuja.

Some pictures of them were shared on social media where the mother-daughter duo was clicked by the paparazzi. Besides them, singer Alka Yagnik was also spotted outside his house to offer condolences to the family. Even Sharbani Mukherjee, Kajol’s cousin, was seen arriving this morning at Bappi Lahiri’s house to meet his grieving family.

After Bappi Da passed away, Kajol took to his Instagram and penned a heartfelt tribute for him which read, “Today we lost the disco king, Bappi Da you were not only an amazing music composer and singer but also a beautiful and happy soul. End of an Era. May your soul rest in peace #RIP #BappiLahiri”

Reportedly, the last rites of Bappi Lahiri will take place on Thursday. Lahiri’s family issued a statement after the singer passed away, “It’s a deeply sad moment for us Our beloved Bappi Da has left for heavenly abode last midnight. The cremation will take on arrival of Bappa From LA tomorrow mid morning ,We are seeking love and blessings for his soul. We will keep you updated.”
