Bappi Lahiri funeral: Legendary singer last rites begins

Legendary singer and music composer Bappi Lahiri passed away on February 15 at Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Many celebs had come to visit him at his residence to offer their last condolence to him and his family. Now, the funeral has begun as his son is back from Los Angeles. The funeral ceremony will be taking place at Pawan Hans crematorium. A few pictures of the same were seen surfacing online where a truck is seen decorated with flowers has arrived to carry his mortal remains to the crematorium.

Fans will be able to pay their respects to the legend one last time. The Mortal remains of veteran singer Bappi Lahiri are being carried to Vile Parle crematorium in Mumbai. Ahead of Bappi Lahiri funeral, celebs had arrived at his residence. Raja Mukherjee as well as Sharbani Mukherjee was spotted reaching the residence of the legendary composer-singer ahead of his final journey.

Before Bappi Lahiri funeral, Lahiri’s family had issued a statement after the singer passed away, “It’s a deeply sad moment for us Our beloved Bappi Da has left for heavenly abode last midnight. The cremation will take on arrival of Bappa From LA tomorrow mid morning, We are seeking love and blessings for his soul. We will keep you updated.”

After the tragic demise, many celebs like Kajol, Tanuja, Alka Yagnik, Rahul Roy, Shaan, Rakesh Roshan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Rupali Ganguly and many more had visited his residence to offer their last respect.
