Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who has given us fantastic movies like Bareilly ki Barfi and Panga, Nil Battey Sannata is super happy today. Why do you ask? Well, she has completed 5 years in the industry. Yes! Ashwiny has clocked 5 long years in the industry, successfully. She took to her Instagram handle to celebrate this beautiful journey, as she took down memory lane.

Sharing BTS moments from the shoot of Nil Battey Sannata, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari expressed her gratitude to people for supporting her. “Restarted with a dream to tell stories that matter to me and keep walking along, uplifting ideas with passion. Emotions that I carry every day and will stay with me for a lifetime. Been 5 years Nil Battey Sannata released in theatres,” she wrote.

Within moments, fans showered their love for her and blessed her to keep entertaining them for many years. Bareilly ki Barfi starred Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkumar Rao in the main leads. Panga featured Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chadda and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles. Ashwiny’s first directorial starred Swara Bhaskar, Aditi Tailang, Ratna Pathak Shah and Pankaj Tripathi in the leads.

It was only yesterday that Ashwiny announced that the release of her debut novel Mapping Love has been pushed due to the COVID pandemic.
