‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ release date announced, film to hit the screens on August 18

For the first time, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon would be pairing with each other in the film ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’. The twist in their story is Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ seems to be one happy film to look forward to. And now, we also know when the film would be released. Junglee Pictures, the production house of this film, revealed that the film will make it to the theatres on August 18. That is right after one week from Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ making it to the theatres on August 11.

It is going to be neck-to-neck competition in the month of August as quite a few big films are slated to release in that month. Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma’s ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ will release on August 4. Then during Independence Day week, we will witness Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ and right after that, we will have ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’. Quite an interesting line-up of films we would say.
