Batti Gul Meter Chalu: Shahid Kapoor wraps up the first schedule with this selfie

Actor Shahid Kapoor who had been shooting for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ in Uttarakhand has finally wrapped its first schedule. He shared the news this morning with a smart selfie and captioned it as, “SCHED 1 WRAP ON BATTI GUL METER CHALU”

Speaking of the film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, it is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and also features Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. Shahid essays the role of a lawyer in the movie which will be releasing on August 31, 2018.

Reportedly, the actor will take a short break and head to Delhi with wife Mira and daughter Misha this week. As his birthday falls on February 25, he will be attending a satsang in the river town of Beas along with his family. Well, after the success of his last outing ‘Padmaavat’, hopes are high from ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’.
