The upcoming rom-com ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles has landed in a legal soup. According to sources close to the movie, the director Ajay Pannalal and producer Tony D’Souza have been arrested for hurting religious sentiments of various religious groups. A source revealed to Indian Express, “The first poster of the film where Rajkummar Rao has worn a Shiva look has been reported as hurting religious sentiments for a particular religious group. And now the producer and the director are arrested, they are not speaking up right now because they are worried that something wrong shouldn’t happen any further. They are yet to receive a bail!” However, there has been no confirmation from the police station.
In the movie poster, Rajkummar is seen in the garb of Lord Shiva sitting on a silver bike. This has hurt the sentiments of various religious groups. The movie is all set to release on June 9, 2017, but now with this huge controversy, let’s hope the makers are able to release it on time.
