Bejoy Nambiar and Farhan Akhtar to reunite!

‘Wazir’ filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar’s last with Farhan Akhtar was a scintillating thriller which also featured Amitabh Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari. Reportedly, the duo is coming together for another project soon! A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests that the ‘David’ director has roped Farhan in for his next project. The ‘Rock On!!’ actor will play the lead role and will don a producer’s hat at the same time.

Nambiar, at present, is busy with the remake of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Agni Natchathiram’. Apparently, both the films are going to start off together.

“Bejoy had written the script years ago but the film is taking shape only now. It’s his dream project. The initial plan was to start this before the ‘Agni Natchathiram’ remake but the team is yet to zero in on the female lead. Deepika Padukone is among the actresses who have been approached. The makers are waiting for her to return from the ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ shoot. Meanwhile, Farhan is set to head to the US to shoot for Nisha Pahuja’s upcoming documentary on the girl child, so it’ll be a while before Bejoy’s film goes on the floors,” a source was quoted by Mirror.

We do not yet have an update about the film’s plot. Another thriller from Nambiar’s sleeves would be surely interesting. However, as long as two masterminds together work something out, it has to be grand!
