‘Bell Bottom’: Vaani Kapoor to romance Akshay Kumar in this espionage thriller

Its official, actress Vaani Kapoor is all set to romance Akshay Kumar in his upcoming espionage thriller ‘Bell Bottom’. Vaani shared the good news on her social media handles.

Sharing a few pictures with her co-star Akshay, Vaani took to the microblogging site and wrote, “Super Super Thrilled & Excited for this one !! Teaming up with the one & only @akshaykumar Sir. Can’t wait !!! #Bellbottom Let’s get this started(sic)”

This is the first time when Vaani will be sharing the screen space with Akshay. Sharing her excitement about being a part of the film, Vaani told PTI, “I am thrilled to partner with Pooja Entertainment who have already made me feel at home at this initial stage of our film. Hoping that this excitement will translate beautifully on screen.” 

Directed Ranjit M Tewari, ‘Bell Bottom’ is set in the 1980s and is about one of India’s forgotten heroes. The film’s release date was pushed due to the Coronavirus scare and now it is scheduled to release on April 2, 2021.

Written by Aseem Arora and Parveez Shaikh, ‘Bell Bottom’ will go on floors later this year. The film is made under the banner of Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment. Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikhil Advani are producing it.
