‘Bharat’ director Ali Abbas Zafar to announce leading lady soon

Priyanka Chopra’s sudden decision to walk out of Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ for personal reasons has left fans stunned. The ‘Quantico’ star’s unprofessional behavior soon had netizens slamming her on the social media. Director Ali Abbas Zafar confirming the news had tweeted,

Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her … Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life ???

Twitterati started wondering who will step in Priyanka’s shoes; will it be Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif or Kareena Kapoor.

Today the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ director once again took to his social media handle and announced that he will announce the leading lady for his upcoming directorial ‘Bharat’ soon.

“Yes yes yes… We will announce the leading lady of ‘Bharat‘ soon. We have been shooting non-stop and simultaneously preparing for international schedules,” Zafar tweeted on Saturday.

‘Bharat’ is an official adaptation of a 2014 South Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’. It is produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.

The film which will be shot across locations in Abu Dhabi and Spain, besides Punjab and Delhi, is slated for an Eid release in 2019.
