‘Bharat’: Here’s what went behind recreating the Great Russian Circus for Salman Khan’s period drama

Ever since the trailer of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’ was unveiled, it has become difficult for their fans and followers to wait patiently till its release. The makers too have ensured that the curiosity surrounding their film is intact by unveiling its chartbuster songs and various looks of its lead actors.

‘Bharat’ is a journey of a man and a nation together. The film chronicles various phases of Bharat’s eventful and colourful life. And one of those phases is the one where Bharat(Salman Khan) was a stunt performer in the Great Russian Circus. The makers of this highly anticipated film are all set to take the viewers on a nostalgic trip.

Today sharing the ‘Making of The Circus’ video, the makers wrote, “Welcome to the Great Russian Circus, Re-live Circus with Bharat!”

In this making video, we can see how beautifully that era has been recreated. The hard work that went into recreating the 60s is commendable. Everyone right from director Ali Abbas Zafar to costume designers are sharing insights into the research that went into creating the Great Russian Circus era. Also, you get to see how a body-double was used to shoot the portions of Bharat’s younger self as a stunt man in the circus.

This is indeed a very fascinating making video. Hope the makers share more of these behind-the-scenes and making videos.

Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bharat’ is all set to hit the marquee on June 5.
