Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Kabir Singh 2 in the pipeline? Deets here

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa is minting at the box office. The movie is all set to join the 100 crore club soon. Owing to the mega-success of the film, the film’s producers Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani have confirmed the third instalment of the movie. They also added that Shahid Kapoor’s 2019 film, Kabir Singh, is also likely to turn into a franchise.

The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, which was a remake of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy had proved to be a huge hit at the box office.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani confirmed the sequel and added, “We are definitely taking the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise forward. There is enough scope in the premise and we will announce more details at the right time.”

They added, “I think, our film Kabir Singh can definitely be spun into a franchise. It’s an iconic character and can be taken into a second part.” Murad Khetani agreed and added that the character is so popular that they should think of a story for him.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa original that was released in 2007 featured Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in lead roles.  Priyadarshan directed the film, which was a remake of the 1993 Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. Kabir Singh featured Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor and it minted Rs 278.24 crore.

After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, T-Series will soon be releasing Animal with Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol in the leads.
