‘Bhoot-The Haunted Ship’ Trailer: This Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar starrer horror-thriller will give you goosebumps

A few days back we saw the teaser of Dharma Production’s maiden horror-thriller ‘Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship’, and today finally the makers have dropped its trailer. Starring Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead, the film’s story is based on a true accident where a couple was abandoned on a ship lying static on a beach.

This is the first time when Vicky and Bhumi will be seen in a horror film so naturally, we all are excited about it. Thankfully the trailer does offer some scenes which are really scary. In the film, Vicky is playing a surveying officer Prithvi, who is handling the case of the stranded ship, Seabird. The ship is apparently haunted.

The trailer showcases how Prithvi survey’s the ship despite being warned off about it being haunted. He witnesses several paranormal activities and gets entangled with the story of a missing girl and worker on the ship. In the film, Bhumi is apparently playing Prithvi’s wife. Going by trailer, Vicky perhaps has lost his wife and daughter.

The trailer looks intriguing and now we are looking forward to watching the film.

It’s been a long time since we saw a really horrifying Bollywood film. We hope ‘Bhoot’ will help in filling that vacuum.

Helmed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, ‘Bhoot’ is bankrolled by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan. The horror-thriller is scheduled to hit the silver screens on February 21.
