Bhopal prisoners left disappointed after Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma don’t turn up

Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma are presently shooting for veteran actor Sanjay Dutt’s biopic. Dutt’s life behind the bars is a part of the film. As scheduled, eight actors from the crew were present at Bhopal Central Jail to shoot.

The inmates residing in the prison believed they’d get glimpses of Ranbir and Anushka. Full of hope, they waited for three long hours.

However, they later learned that the stars are not coming, and were left disappointed, TOI reported. (Also Read: Ram Gopal Varma’s derogatory comment on Sunny Leone lands him in legal trouble)

The crew reached there past afternoon and the shoot went on till almost 3 pm. They will stay in Bhopal till March 12.

Dutt’s biopic also stars Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt and Manisha Koirala playing the role of Nargis. Sonam Kapoor will play a journalist one of Dutt’s former love interests. The film also features Anushka Sharma in a pivotal role.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, it is reportedly slated to release in Christmas this year.
