Bhuj: The Pride of India Motion Poster: Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha starrer to release on THIS date

Abhishek Dudhaiya’s directorial Bhuj: The Pride of India has finally got a release date. The war action film features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharad Kelkar and Nora Fatehi in pivotal role. The makers of Bhuj have booked Independence Day weekend for the film’s release. Yes, the Ajay Devgn starrer will release on August 13 on an OTT platform.

Announcing the release date of his film, Ajay Devgn unveiled a new motion poster and wrote, “Bhuj – The Pride Of India | Motion Poster 1971. THE GREATEST BATTLE EVER FOUGHT. #BhujThePrideOfIndia releasing on 13th August only on @disneyplushotstarvip. #DisneyPlusHotstarMultiplex(sic).”

Sonakshi Sinha also unveiled a new poster of Bhuj as she announced the release date of her upcoming film. In the motion poster, Sonakshi is seen in a never-seen before avatar.

The Abhishek Dudhaiya starrer is based on real events. Set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, the film is about the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, the then in-charge of the Bhuj airport who, with his team, reconstructed the IAF airbase with the help of 300 women from the local village Madhapar. Ajay Devgn will essay the role of Vijay Karnik.

Bhuj was supposed to release in theaters however owing to the Coronavirus induced lockdown, the film is now heading for a digital release.
