Bhumi Pednekar is one of the finest actors currently in Bollywood. Over her career span, she has given stellar performances in movies like ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, and ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ among others. She also won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’. She has another feather in her cap. Her film, ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ was premiered at the 24th edition of the Busan International Film Festival. The actress was awarded the Face of Asia award by a Korean film and fashion magazine.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Bhumi shared the news. She posted a picture of her from the event and wrote, “This award has only motivated me to work harder.”

On her feat, Bhumi told Mid Day, “I am humbled that my work has resonated with audiences and critics in Busan. It’s my first international win, so I am proud. I have aspired to act in films that have something important to say, and have worked sincerely to deliver convincing performances. I hope to be part of cinema that will be remembered fondly in future.”
Bhumi is currently gearing for her upcoming release ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ where she is playing an aged sharpshooter. The movie also has Taapsee Pannu who is also playing a sharpshooter. The movie is releasing on October 25, 2019.
