Bollywood celebs are living in the times of social media and with that inevitably comes trolling. The social media warriors sometimes can get very nasty and hurl abuses at stars for no apparent reason. Now, the latest entrant into this list is actress Bhumi Pednekar. However, Bhumi made a major blunder by posting Makar Sankranti wishes on Gudi Padwa and also using grammatically wrong language in her caption! The tweet is now unavailable. Yesterday (April 6) was the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa.
Bhumi Pednekar took to social media account and wished fans a very happy Gudi Padwa.
The ‘Sonchiriya’ actress tweeted the wishes saying, ’tilgul ghya god god bola’, a greeting that is traditionally said on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. The fans were quick enough to point out this glaring mistake and flooded her feed with comments! She rectified the caption and the post but it was probably too late by then!
Check out some of the comments below:
Later on, Bhumi rectified her post and put the correct caption. The unnecessary trolling was not on and at the end of the day, mistakes do happen. Bhumi is known for her sporting nature and next time will be extra careful while wishing her fans for a particular festival.
