Bhumi Pednekar recalls Shah Rukh Khan calling her after Bhakshak shoot wrap up, says, ‘He called to thank me’

Bhumi Pednekar is a versatile actress and the actress has proved time and again. She will soon be seen as an investigative journalist in Bhakshak. The movie is bankrolled by Shah Rukh Khan’s production venture Red Chillies Entertainment. In a recent interview, Bhumi Pednekar shared in an interview that she is manifesting working with Shah Rukh khan as she recalled him calling her after movie wrap up.

Recalling her conversation with SRK, Bhumi in an interview recalled, “The day we wrapped up the film, I remember I was eating dinner, and I was like, ‘oh, the film is done.’ There was going to be a get-together party and we were in Lucknow and I got a call from Shah Rukh sir and, you know, he’s such a gracious man. He just called me to thank me (for doing the film) and I’m like, dude, you’re Shah Rukh Khan.” When she was asked whether she wanted to work with Shah Rukh Khan, Bhumi said, “It is my biggest manifestation since I was a child. So I really, really hope.”

Shah Rukh Khan had even praised the team of Bhakshak after its trailer release. He shared a post on X and wrote, “All the best for the film. It’s such a hard-hitting film!! And the whole cast is outstanding.”

The movie features a powerful ensemble including Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava and Sai Tamhankar, along with Bhumi Pednekar. The movie is all set to release on Netflix on 9^th February.

On the work front, Bhumi will next be seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The movie also stars Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh.
