Bhumi Pednekar shares a lovely selfie with Smriti Irani as she praises her for ‘uplifting’ women

Actor Bhumi Pednekar took to her Instagram account and shared a lovely selfie with Union Minister Smriti Irani as she met her recently. While sharing the picture with her fans, Bhumi was seen praising her for the amazing work she had done for society. She mentioned she worked towards uplifting women and the children of our country. Bhumi wrote, “@smritiiraniofficial loved meeting you today More power to you ma’am for all the amazing work you’re doing towards uplifting our gender, the children of our country and all compromised communities.”

Reacting to her post, the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actor reposted the same post on her Instagram handle and called her a gifted actor with a heart of gold. Moreover, she also expressed her pleasure to meet her and thanked her for applying so diligently to her craft. Smriti captioned as, “It is rare to find a gifted actor with a heart of gold … an adventurous creative soul who essays a variety of roles with elan and adds to our differentiated discourse… was an absolute pleasure to meet you … thank you for applying yourself so diligently to your craft”

Meanwhile, on March 23, Smriti Irani celebrated her birthday and the birthday wishes were coming in order on social media. The maker of KSBKBT and good friend Ekta Kapoor shared a birthday post but it was shared on her son Ravie’s behalf. Addressing the birthday post to his ‘maasi’, Ravie mentioned that he loves her and feels blessed to be growing around her.

On the professional front, Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Badhaai Do with Rajkummar Rao. The actor is now set to star in Raksha Bandhan opposite Akshay Kumar. She also has Govinda Naam Mera, Afwaah The Lady Killer in the pipeline.
