Big B suffers a rib injury while shooting for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’

Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan have collaborated for the first time with YRF’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’. The film is a lot in news for its ensemble star cast. We have two superstars like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan in this film, while two beautiful ladies, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh would also be a part of this project. The shooting of the same was going on in Malta and that’s when Big B apparently suffered a rib injury.

As per reports, Big B suffered excruciating pain in his lower back while shooting for the same. Despite being in such a situation, he refrained from taking a break from the shoot. It was only when he came back to Mumbai and underwent a MRI, it was revealed that he had cracked his rib.

Vijay Krishna Acharya, the writer and director of ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’, was deeply moved with the dedication and professionalism of Sr Bachchan. He said, “To me, having Mr Bachchan on set, for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ was an extraordinary experience in itself. I have grown up idolising him and am an absolute fan of his 70s’ films like ‘Deewar’. That he would have to deal with pain had me worried. I had offered to reschedule the last day’s shoot but he insisted on completing these portions and actually did a fine job! The kind of professional focus, commitment and sheer love for cinema he has, is quite unmatched. I am overwhelmed, as is the unit that also worked at 100 percent to make this day’s work easier.”
