Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh had filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and few others for abetment of suicide. The case was filed in Patna and challenging that Rhea had filed a plea in Supreme Court seeking the transfer of the case to Mumbai Police. Yesterday, the apex court finally ordered a CBI probe into the late actor’s death. The court even clarified that the FIR filed in Bihar was not unconstitutional.

Hours after the SC’s verdict, Bihar’s Director General of Police Gupteshwar Pandey told reporters that Rhea Chakraborty does not have the stature to comment on Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

According to ANI report, yesterday post the hearing, when asked to comment of Rhea’s comments on CM Nitish Kumar, DGP Gupteshwar Pandey told the reporters, “Bihar ke mukhyamantri pe comment karne ki aukaat Rhea Chakraborty ki nahi hai.”

He went on to add, “What the police did was correct, and according to legal and constitutional provisions. Because of the support that the Bihar Chief Minister gave us, there is hope today for justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. The fight has come to this point because of the Chief Minister’s support.”

Following the backlash that his comment welcomed on the social media, DGP issued an apology. “If my use of the word “aukat” caused her any discomfort, I am apologising for that,” he told CNN News18.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s family thanked everyone especially Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for his constant support.
