On August 7, The Bihar Police on behalf of the Bihar government filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that the transfer petition filed by actress Rhea Chakraborty is ‘misconceived and not maintainable’.

In the affidavit, Rhe has been accused of coming in contact with Sushant with the sole aim of grabbing his money. It also stated that the actress painted a false picture of Sushant’s mental illness and claimed that she overdosed Sushant with medicines.

The affidavit also stated that the Mumbai Police did not cooperate with the Bihar Police and it has seen that the team found several leads in the investigation.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has rejected actress Rhea Chakraborty’s request seeking postponement of her recording the statement until the Supreme Court hears her transfer petition. Today she and her brother, Showik was summoned by the ED. The agency had also interrogated Rhea’s co-associate Samuel Miranda for nearly 10 hours on Thursday.

Also, Republic TV has investigated Rhea’s phone calls and found out that she had called a senior police officer. Meanwhile, her ex-manager Shruti Modi has arrived at the ED office.

On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, had filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and six others at Rajiv Nagar Police Station in Patna. KK Singh had accused Rhea of taking Rs 15 crore from the late actor.
