In Bollywood, whenever a film does well, others follow the suit and try to offer the audience the same kind of story packaged in a different way. So its not surprising that when a potboiler becomes a hit, everyone starts making the same kind of formula films.
Currently in Bollywood, it is the season of biopics. Every second filmmaker is making a biopic either on sport persons, politicians, actors or artists. Now if the recent reports are to be believed then very soon we might have a biopic based on stand-up comedian, television presenter and actor Kapil Sharma! Yes you read that right.

According to recent reports, filmmaker Vinod Tiwari is all set to make a biopic on Kapil Sharma. The filmmaker whose latest film, ‘Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle’ is all set to hit the silver screens on July 13 is very excited about this biopic.
Revealing about his plans of making the biopic Tiwari told IANS, “Kapil Sharma has started from scratch and it would be very interesting to put his journey from Amritsar to Mumbai on the silver screen. I really wish that Kapil does this film but if he doesn’t do it, then Krushna Abhishek, who has worked very closely with Kapil would be the perfect choice for my film. I have shared the concept with Krushna and he is very excited to work on this project. But, we are planning to get Kapil on board.”

“In 2010 too, I wanted to do a film on Kapil but things didn’t work but now I have producers too, who have always wanted to work with Kapil. I am not Rajkumar Hirani, but I will try my best to showcase the life of Kapil in the best possible way. That is why I have also registered the name of the film as ‘The Kapil Sharma-Real Hero’,” the filmmaker added further.
So it seems like Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Sanju’ is inspiring a lot of people to make biopics. However we are surprised that the filmmaker of Kapil’s biopic is planning to cast the comedian’s rival in his own biopic.
What do you guys think? Is Krushna Abhishek the right choice for Kapil’s biopic? Or would you like to see the comedian star in his own biopic? Let us know your views in the comment section below.
