Is it a biopic next for Pawan Kripalani?

Director Pawan Kripalani’s ‘Phobia’ starring Radhika Apte is garnering positive reviews from all corners. ‘Phobia’ deals with a woman who suffers from ‘Agorophobia’, where an individual is scared to go out in public places, as a result of the growing instances of violence. When asked if he would like to try his hands at biopics, Pawan said he would love to make a biopic on the Ramsay brothers!

“I would love to do a biopic on Ramsay brothers. They ruled Box office in 70s and 80s and I think that’s great idea. It would become a great story to tell, a story about family of brothers and their wives, their children who used to make horror movies together. It was in the family!”, he said.

“They would make these crazy exploiting movies, which were iconic in those days. Very little credit has been given to them. Though they were made fun of for making tacky characters, but they were artists man,” he added.

The very genre of biopic is becoming more and more popular in Bollywood every day, as they give us the scope to explore and know about instances and individuals we were less aware about. In that light, a biopic on Ramsay surely sounds interesting.
