Bipasha Basu adds Karan Singh Grover’s surname to her name

After marriage, Kareena Kapoor became Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit became Madhuri Dxiti-Nene, and many other actresses opted to keep their surname and just added their husbands surname to it. And now, Bipasha Basu has joined the league of these actresses.

Bipasha from now will be using Bipasha Basu Singh Grover in her upcoming movies. The actress has already changed her Instagram account to @bipashasinghgrover, however her Twitter handle remains Bipasha Basu. The actress has quoted in a leading daily, “I tried changing on Twitter too but it said that the name was too long and didn’t accept it. I am also changing my name for films to Bipasha Basu Singh Grover (laughs). It’s a full sentence and I love it!”

When she was asked why such a long name, Bips said, “Why not? I am not changing it in person. Just keeping my husband’s name with my family name. I love being married… Looking after my husband and home is cute.”

The actress is also learning to cook new dishes. She said, “I always cooked but once in a while. I am lazy about cooking. But between me and Karan, he, I think, is a better cook as has he has studied in Hotel Management. My best dish is Chicken Khow Suey and my command over Thai food is good too, but if you ask me Karan’s best dish? I am yet to taste it (laughs)!”

Bipasha and Karan got married on April 30 this year.
