Vijaya Dashami: Bipasha Basu smeared with ‘sindoor’ by Karan Singh Grover on her ‘first sindoor khela’ post marriage

Today is the last day of Durga Puja or Navratri. The auspicious day is called Vijaya Dashami or Bijoya Dashami. People specially the Bengali community bids adieu to Ma Durga by playing sindoor. The ritual is called Sindoor Khela where the married women smear sindoor on each other.

Bong beauty Bipasha Basu too played sindoor with her family. She took to her Instagram handle to share a few pictures from the celebrations where we see her cheeks and forehead smeared with sindoor. Bipasha donned a traditional white-and-red sari with red bindi and sindoor on her maang. Also, she completed her look wearing shankha (white bangles). Karan Singh Grover was in a white kurta pajama. Sharing the pics, she wrote, “First sindoor khela after marriage with my sisters. Miss you Ma and Papa #durgadurga.”

Well, as this is her first sindoor khela post marriage, it is indeed a special day for Bipasha.

On the professional front, Bipasha and Karan will be seen together in ‘Aadat’. Directed by Bhushan Patel, ‘Aadat’ is reportedly a romantic thriller.
