Aamir Khan recently expressed his excitement about a potential collaboration with fellow superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan during his appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia. When asked about the possibility of the three Khans uniting on screen, Aamir confirmed that discussions had already taken place regarding this much-anticipated project.
Aamir Khan confirms film with Shah Rukh Khan & Salman Khan
“About six months ago, Shah Rukh, Salman, and I met and spoke about this idea. I initially brought it up, mentioning to Shah Rukh and Salman how unfortunate it would be if we didn’t work on a film together. Both Salman and Shah Rukh agreed, saying, ‘Yes, we must do a film together.’ Hopefully, we can make it happen soon, but it will require the right story, so we need to wait for the perfect script,” Aamir revealed at the Red Sea Film Festival.
This isn’t the first time Aamir Khan has addressed the possibility of collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Earlier this year, while appearing on The Great Indian Kapil Show, he reiterated the importance of this union, stating, “I recently met both Shah Rukh and Salman when they were together. I emphasized that after being in the industry for so many years, it would be unfair to our audiences if we didn’t collaborate at least once during our careers. We should share screen space in a film.”
Aamir further shared that the conversation around finding a compelling story has been ongoing. “I mentioned to both Salman and Shah Rukh that we need a strong narrative. I even met Salman just two days ago when he came over to my house and gifted me some jeans. He always brings me a box of his latest Being Human collection. We’re both eager to see if we can work on a project together soon, and I hope we attract some good directors with interesting scripts,” he added.
On the work front
Aamir last collaborated with Salman Khan on the comedy classic Andaz Apna Apna. In contrast, Shah Rukh and Salman have starred together in several successful films including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Tubelight, Zero, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. The two will soon be seen together in the upcoming film Tiger Vs. Pathaan.
