Though Ranbir Kapoor amazed all with his performance, Bobby Deol stole the limelight, not only with his performance but with his smashing entry too! Bobby Deol reveals that the viral dance in Animal was his idea

Recently, Animal actor Bobby Deol got into a conversation with Bollywood Spy and spoke about the fans reaction to the viral dance video of Jamal Kudu. Speaking of the same, he said, “It is crazy, people are keeping a glass on their dog’s head and dancing. Somebody had worn an exact same suit like mine. It’s just overwhelming to see all of that.” Speaking of the song, Bobby shared that Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had shared the music before the shoot. During the shooting period, Bobby recalled his childhood days in Punjab, sharing that they would dance with glasses on their heads.

Bobby said, “Then I suddenly remembered the time when I was small and we used to go to Punjab. I remembered how we used to get drunk and keep glasses on our head. I never understood why we did it. It suddenly came in my mind and I did that. Sandeep liked it.” 

The very famous Bobby Deol’s viral entry song ‘Jamal Kudu’ in Animal is a reworked version of the Iranian song ‘Jamaal Jamaaloo’ by Iran’s Khatareh Group̣. The song is recreated for the movie by Harshvardhan Rameshwar. Speaking of the Animal cast, the movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor.

Speaking of Animal, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has crossed Rs. 700 crore mark the worldwide box office and continues its glorious run. On the other hand, Animal has earned Rs.87.56 crores in its second weekend collection, marking a remarkable feat.
