Bobby Deol on family reaction on him in Aashram
Bobby Deol on his family’s reaction to him playing Nirala Baba in Aashram, said, “See we are actors and we all want to play characters which are not in real life. And, as an actor, you get the opportunity to be someone else, without being that person. Definitely, it is a kind of topic that gets controversial to things. It shows what’s happening in our country, you know these things exist in the country. That’s why the following and viewership of this show is so big because people can identify with the show, story and what’s happening in it.”
Bobby: Hero wale roles milne nahi waale the mujhe
He added, “I didn’t want anyone, ghar main hota hai maa baap kehte hai aisa nahi karna waisa nahi karna, tab baat maani padhti hai. But as an actor meri yahi koshish thi main alag kisam ke roles aur characters kar pau. Hero wale roles milne nahi waale the mujhe. Isiliye main jab yeh role accept kiya, tab maine kisi ko bataaya nahi. Main bas wait kar raha that ki jab show aayega tabh kya reaction hoga? Aur jo reaction mila mujhe aisa laga ki main sapna dekh raha hoon. Meri maa kehe rahi hai mujhse phone aarahi hai mere saheliyo ke ki aapke bete ne itna pyaara kaam kiya hai. Hume toh bahut mazaa aagaya.”
Bobby concluded, “Papa ne mujhe call kiya aur bole kitne logo ke phone aarahe hai mujhe. Tune itna acha kaam kiya hai, I am so happy for you, itna khush hoon main there liye. Tere kaam ki taarif ho rahi hai. Bhaiya ne bhi wahi bola, unke itne saare dosto ne phone kiya unko, ki Bobby see baat karo meri. So I guess all actors try to entertain the audience, and we try to do our best and bring out the character. Thanks to Prakash ji who believed in me, everything has fallen into place.”
