Bollywood actresses bring a paradigm shift after working with these actors

Bollywood has witnessed a lot of commercially successful films which have been applauded for its refreshing and strong content. While there have been a lot of successful films, there are a few films which have set an example for upcoming films in the new year. There have been few instances where the film has done exceptionally well because of their female protagonist(s).

Interestingly, Rajkummar Rao, whose filmography boasts of a number of commercially viable female leads like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Vidya Balan, Sonam Kapoor to name a few, has hit a career milestone with Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Stree’.

The same has been the case with Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal in ‘Padmaavat’ and ‘Raazi’ respectively. The talented actresses of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have bought a welcome change in the year 2018.

Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao and Ranveer Singh could not have got the biggest film of their career without their women co-stars Alia, Shraddha Kapoor and Deepika Padukone respectively.

Deepika, termed as the Queen of 100-crore-club, holds the most number of 100 crore films, 7 to be precise. Her recent outing ‘Padmaavat’ also clocked 300 crores at the box office. With this, Deepika was titled the first actress to have entered the 300-crore-club with a woman-led film. Apparently, Deepika Padukone gave her co-stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor their biggest hit of 2018.

On the other hand, Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree’, which went on to become a blockbuster hit at the box office was also Rajkummar Rao’s highest grosser. Shraddha’s performance was appreciated by everyone and her film, ‘Stree’ remains one of the most loved films of 2018.

Alia Bhatt had captivated the audiences with her realistic performance in her film ‘Raazi’. The film had tremendous reviews and critical acclaim for Alia and Vicky Kaushal. The film went on to become one of the most successful films of 2018 in terms of reception and box office numbers.
