Pranab Mukherjee Passes Away: Ajay Devgn, Manoj Bajpayee, Taapsee Pannu mourn the demise of the former President

Former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee left for his heavenly abode today. His son Abhijit Mukherjee shared the news on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “With a Heavy Heart , this is to inform you that my father Shri #PranabMukherjee has just passed away inspite of the best efforts of Doctors of RR Hospital & prayers ,duas & prarthanas from people throughout India ! I thank all of You”. Earlier today, his condition declined. He was in septic shock due to a lung infection that he developed last week. He was in a coma and on the ventilator. He was 84.

The entire nation is mourning the death of the former president. Bollywood celebs like Ajay Devgn, Taapsee Pannu, Shraddha Kapoor and others have also condoled the demise of the legend.

Taapsee Pannu shared her experience of meeting him as she wrote, “Had the honour of meeting him, watching #Pink in his presence , followed by a very warmly hosted dinner for the entire team. Can never forget the experience, his kind words n gesture that day. You will be missed sir #PranabMukherjee”.

Riteish Deshmukh shared a picture of him with the former president and tweeted, “Deeply Saddened!! A big loss for India. Former President of India Hon Shri #PranabMukherjee Sir will be forever remembered for his work & contribution for the development of India. My deepest condolences to @ABHIJIT_LS ji, the entire family & his millions of followers.”
