Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by the Pakistani army during aerial combat between India and Pakistan. He was in the custody of the neighbouring country’s army since Wednesday (February 27) and today he was handed over to India through the Wagah border. On Abhinandan’s safe return, the entire nation is in a jubilant mood. Our Bollywood celebs also took to their social media handles to express their happiness on the release of the Wing Commander.

Indians also thanked the Pakistani government for releasing our hero safely. Yesterday in Pak National Assembly, Pakistani PM Imran Khan said, “As a peace gesture we are releasing the Indian pilot on Friday.” Meanwhile, India has said that it didn’t negotiate Abhinandan Varthaman’s release under any condition.
