Kareena Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonu Sood & more Bollywood stars congratulate Avani Lekhara on Gold win at Paralympics 2024

The 2024 Paralympic Games are currently underway in Paris and several Indian para-athletes are impressing viewers with their top-notch performance. Athletes such as Avani Lekhara, Mona Agarwal, Manish Narwal and Preethi Pal have secured medals, including a gold.  Several Bollywood stars, including Kareena Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sonu Sood, took to social media and congratulated the medalists.

While Avani won the gold medal in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 final – making history as the first Indian woman to win her second Paralympic gold, Mona Agarwal won a bronze in the same event. Manish Narwal secured silver in the men’s air rifle category and Preethi Pal brought home a bronze by winning in the Women’s T25-100m event – becoming the first Indian para-athlete to achieve this feat.

Tagging Avani, Mona, Manish, and Preethi in her Insta Stories, Kareena Kapoor Khan captioned the collage of the victorious athletes by writing, “Huge congratulations.”

Ayushmann Khurrana also expressed his pride for the Paralympic winners on Instagram. He shared photos of the medalists, writing, “What an amazing day for India at the Paralympics. Feeling super proud.” He also individually congratulated each of the athletes in his post.

Sonali Bendre also took to social media and congratulated the medallists. Sharing a collage of Avani and Mona proudly showing off their medals, she wrote, “Medals are home again,” along with a heart and tricolor emoji.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani and actress Rakul Preet Singh also celebrated the athletes’ win at the 2024 Paris Paralympic. Sharing a heartfelt note congratulating the winners, Jackky wrote, “What a phenomenal achievement! Congratulations to @avani.lekhara on winning gold medal & @shooter_mona on winning bronze at the @paralympics! Your success is nothing short of extraordinary and incredibly inspiring. We’re all so proud of you!”

Rakul Preet posted a collage of Avani and Mona and lauded their hard work. She captioned her post, “Avani Lekhara’s double gold victory and Mona Agarwal’s bronze at Paris 2024 are a testament to their hard work and dedication. So inspiring! Hats off to these champions!”

Sonu Sood took to Twitter and congratulated Avani and Mona writing, “Proud of you both”
