Boman Irani joins the cast of ‘PM Narendra Modi’ biopic

After ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, the audience is going to witness yet another biopic on an Indian Prime Minister. It is on our current PM Narendra Modi. After actor Darshan Kumaar, the latest to join the multi-starrer cast is veteran actor Boman Irani. In a statement to PTI, Boman Irani said that he felt honoured to be chosen for the landmark film.

Expressing his feelings, Mr. Irani said, “It’s a strong team comprising of Sandip Ssingh, Omung Kumar and Vivek Anand Oberoi and I am looking forward to working with them. This has been a great start to my New Year and I am looking forward to this remarkable journey.”

Also, producer Sandip Ssingh said that he is glad to welcome Boman Irani in the film. “It gives the project its much-needed experience and depth. I believe a strong cast is a foundation to making a great film. We are very excited to have such amazing actors on board and I can’t wait to begin shooting.”

This is Omung Kumar’s third biopic after ‘MC Mary Kom’ and ‘Sarabjit Singh’. In the first week of this month, the poster was launched with 23 languages by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis.

The biopic will show the life of Mr. Narendra Modi and his journey as a politician. It is going to be shot in various locations of India such as Gujarat, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Vivek Oberoi will be seen in the character of Narendra Modi.
