‘Bombay Velvet’ trailer to be out on Thursday

The wait to see the inside world of ‘Bombay Velvet’ will be over with the release of its trailer on Thursday morning during the telecast of the India-Bangladesh match at the Cricket World Cup.

A tweet on the official handle of Phantom Films read: “Don’t forget to catch the #BombayVelvet trailer, tomorrow at 8 a.m. on @StarSportsIndia!”

The message was followed by a link of a promo, in which Ranbir Kapoor, the film’s lead actor, is seen asking viewers to tune into the match and to get a ‘mauka’ to watch the trailer of “Bombay Velvet”.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is playing a negative role for the first time in the film, also took to the micro-blogging site to share the news.

“The #BombayVelvet trailer releases tomorrow morning,” Karan tweeted on Wednesday.

“Bombay Velvet”, which also stars Anushka Sharma, is jointly produced by Phantom Films and Fox Star India, and is set for release May 15. The film is set in the 1960s and is a large screen adaptation of Gyan Prakash’s “Mumbai Fables”.
