Boney Kapoor claims Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor are not on ‘good terms’ but credits former to give his best to son

Boney Kapoor is currently gearing up for his production venture Maidaan starring Ajay Devgn. While he has been a prolific producer, his personal life has always been under news. From Sridevi’s untimely demise to equation with son Arjun Kapoor he has been vocal about everything. In a recent interview with a news portal, Boney Kapoor commented on Arjun Kapoor’s strained relationship with Salman Khan.

Boney Kapoor on Arjun Kapoor and Salman Khan’s feud

Actor Arjun Kapoor has had a strained relationship with Salman Khan for a while now. Earlier, the duo shared a great bond during Kapoor’s initial days in the film industry. In a recent interview with Showsha, Boney revealed how Salman has always been concerned of Arjun. “Where Arjun is concerned, I may have separated from Mona, but it was never in my mind that Arjun wants to become an actor. It was Salman who called me up and said, ‘He will become an actor.’ I mean, he took it upon himself and made him lose weight. Imagine, at that time, he was a very healthy child.”

“Whatever said and done today, maybe they’re not on good terms, I mean, the equation is not that good, but he gave him his best. And Arjun’s growth really was influenced a lot by Salman, where his outlook to acting is concerned, his outlook to films are concerned, and he shaped up. I mean he gave him, rather inculcated in him, the importance of having a good body,” added Boney.

When asked if the rift between Arjun Kapoor and Salman Khan has affected his relationship with the Tiger 3 actor, Boney Kapoor said, “That has not altered. I still love him. I still feel that there are very few like him. You know big-hearted, warm-hearted, and there’s a lot of respect that he gives me, and I love him.”

For those who are unaware, Arjun Kapoor is currently in a relationship with Malaika Arora, who was earlier married to Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan. The Ishaqzaade actor also reportedly dated Salman’s sister Arpita Khan in the past. She is now married to actor Aayush Sharma.

A few days back, Boney also confirmed Salman Khan has agreed to do Wanted 2. Talking about Maidaan it is set to release on 20^th April. It will witness a clash with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
