Boney Kapoor shares a lovely pic with Sridevi as he remembers her on her birth anniversary

On Saturday, August 14, Producer Boney Kapoor took to his Instagram account and shared a lovely picture with his late wife and iconic star Sridevi. He shared an unseen picture with her where we can see Sridevi had her arms around Boney Kapoor from behind while they pose for a lovely snap. As it was her birth anniversary, Boney shared a picture with the fans on social media and captioned it, “Happy birthday jaan” 

Sridevi got married to film producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. The two welcomed two daughters – Janhvi Kapoor in 1997 and Khushi Kapoor in 2000. In an old interview, Sridevi had said that she never wanted Janhvi to enter Bollywood and Janhvi made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak in 2018. Now, her younger sister Khushi Kapoor will also soon make her film debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

On the other hand, Sridevi Ji’s elder daughter and actor Janhvi Kapoor also made an adorable post for her mother on her birth anniversary. She shared throwback pictures where we can see Janhvi as a little girl adorably posing with her late mother. The Good Luck Jerry actor wrote, “Happy birthday Mumma I miss you more and more everyday. I love u forever”

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Janhvi opens up about how the family was devastated after her mother Sridevi’s demise. Also on how brother Arjun Kapoor and sister Anshula Kapoor stood beside them like a rock.

The Dhadak actor exclusively told us, “It’s a modern family for sure I think. It’s hard for us to say completely for me Khushi, Arjun and Anshula didi to say complete ever because we are missing a very integral part of the family in our head but I think what we’ve done for each other or at least what I feel they’ve done for me has given me some semblance of. I don’t know if normalcy is the word, but security, stability, comfort, and so much love have become my strength.”
